Editorial Board Member of World Journal of Immunology, Dr. Velázquez is a distinguished Mexican Immunologist. Having received his bachelor’s degree in Clinical Chemistry from Bioanalysis Faculty, Universidad Veracruzana, Dr. Henry undertook his postgraduate training in the Immunology Department at National Polytechnic Institute, receiving his master’s degree. Then received his PhD in Clinical and Experimental Research by the Faculty of Medicine, National Autonomous University of Mexico. He held the position of Clinical Laboratory Director at Mexican Red Cross Hospital, Mexico City during 2021. Dr. Velázquez is currently a professor at the National Autonomous University of Mexico and Researcher in the Immunology Department at the Ophthalmology Institute “Conde de Valenciana”. His ongoing research interest involves translational research in immunopathology of allergic and ophthalmic diseases, allergy diagnosis and innate immunity regulation.
