Dr Nimbalkar is active in the research field of Neonatal Resuscitation, Neonatal Pain, Kangaroo Mother Care, etc. He currently Heads the Department of Pediatrics and Central Research Services of Pramukhswami Medical College and Charutar Arogya Mandal respectively. As of May 2018 he has about 100 publications of which 74 are in PubMed indexed journals.
