Dr. Xiang Wang received his PhD, MD degree from Nanjing University, China and was a visiting scholar at School of Dentistry, University of Michigan in 2018. At present, he is an Associate Professor at Medical School of Nanjing University and specializes in Oral Medicine, especially the basic, clinical or translational research of oral mucosal diseases. Dr. Wang has 15-year clinical experiences in oral mucosal diseases. He has the membership of Professional Board of Oral Medicine, Chinese Stomatology Association (CSA). Dr. Wang has taken charge of one national project of China and has 10 Chinese patents authorized. He serves as editorial board member for 5 international journals and published over 20 peer-reviewed papers in SCI journals. His research interests include cigarette smoke and innate immune of oral cavity, candida infection and premalignant diseases of oral mucosa, and Laugier-Hunziker syndrome and other pigmentation disorders.
