Dr Xiong's areas of interest include treatment of head and neck cancer, hearing loss, surgical treatment of otitis media and cochlea implantation. My academic pursuits have resulted into publications and prestigious book chapters.  I currently practices as a member of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association and Chinese Medical Association of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery.
