Dr. Raid M. Al-Ani is a Distinguished Professor in the College of Medicine, University Of Anbar, Iraq. Having received his MBChB degree from the College of Medicine, Kufa University in 1989. Dr. Raid undertook his Fellowship of the Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations/Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery and has been a Specialist Surgeon at the Al-Ramadi Teaching Hospital in the Otolaryngology Division, Department of Surgery since 2000. He became a lecturer of College of Medicine, University Of Anbar at 2005. At 2015 he got MRCS-Edinburgh. Besides, he is a Fellow of the European Board of ORL-HNS since 2017. Dr. Raid was promoted to Professor in the College of Medicine, University Of Anbar in 2020. His ongoing research interests are various topics related to the general Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Al-Anbar Medical Journal, a member of the editorial boards, and a reviewer of several scientific journals, and has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles. He received many positions like a Chief of the Biochemistry Department, Assistant Dean for Scientific affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Chief of the curriculum Committee, and others in his college (College of Medicine, University Of Anbar). Dr. Raid was a National Assessor of the Accreditation of the Iraqi Medical Colleges.
