Dr. Xu, a chief physician, a distinguished professor in the Shanghai Medical School, Fudan University, China. He is currently the assistant director of the Zhongshan Hospital affiliated to Fudan University and the administrative director of the ultrasound department. He currently serves as the director of Shanghai Ultrasound Diagnosis and Treatment Engineering Technology Research Center, the deputy director of Shanghai Imaging Medical Research Institute, the standing member of the Intervention Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and the deputy leader of the Ultrasound Intervention Group. The landmark achievements in the past 10 years were published in JCO, Nature Communications, Advanced Materials, Radiology, E-biomedicine, JCEM, Thyroid and other publications. His research fields mainly include ultrasonic diagnosis of thyroid cancer, ultrasound-guided ablation of liver cancer, thyroid nodules, uterine leiomyoma and adenomyosis, etc.
