Chenggui Zhang,PhD, Associate Professor, Shandong Provincial Hospital Affiliated to Shandong First Medical University, Shandong, China. Research areas include both basic and clinical studies in orthopedics, with a focus on osteoporosis, fracture repair, degenerative spinal conditions, and bone metabolism. Actively engaged in scientific research, currently leading one project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Young Scientists and one project funded by the Shandong Provincial Natural Science Foundation for Young Scientists. As the first author, I have published five SCI papers in high-impact journals related to osteoporosis and fracture healing, with a cumulative impact factor of 30. These publications include: PLoS Medicine (IF 11.06), cited 118 times as of October 26, 2022. Journal of Bone and Mineral Research (IF 6.74), a top journal in bone metabolism. I have served as a peer reviewer for journals such as Microbiology, Osteoporosis International, and the BMC series.
