Kaiyang Wang, MD, Assistant Professor, Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital. Dr. Wang focuses on the fields of digital orthopedics and hip fractures. He was the first to establish a cross-sectional classification for Pauwels type III femoral neck fractures,and explained, from a biomechanical perspective, the reasons for the high failure rate of Pauwels type III femoral neck fractures in young adults. He was awarded the Shanghai Outstanding Resident Physician and is an International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD) Certified Clinician. He has published 16 articles, with 9 as the first author or corresponding author in journals such as *Advanced Science*, *Journal of Nanobiotechnology*, and *Injury*. His H-index is 8. Reviewed over 60 manuscripts, including those for *Injury*, *Journal of Trauma*, and *JoVE-Journal of Visualized Experiments*. Additionally, he served as a guest editor for the special issue titled “The Future of Orthopaedic Surgery: the Application of Digital Orthopaedic Technology in Joint and Spine Surgery,”in JoVE, which has accepted 3 articles for publication and has 5 under review. Dr. Wang's goal is to become an outstanding clinical medical scientist. Continuously striving in orthopedic biomechanics and orthopedic basic medicine. Dr. Wang's skill is surgery.
