Li-Rong Wu, PhD, Associate professor, Physician of Radiation oncology department, Jiangsu Cancer Hospital & Jiangsu Institute of Cancer Research & The Affiliated Cancer Hospital of Nanjing Medical University, Nanjing 210009, China. I am engaged in radiation therapy of malignant tumors, and studied radiation sensitivity, radiation damage, tumor occurrence and development, and immunotherapy resistance. I am particularly good at the clinical and mechanism research of head and neck tumors and digestive tract tumors. The study of cancer in the Chinese population is different from that in the United States and Europe, which is also our direction, to study the most suitable treatment regimen and tumor mechanism in the Chinese population. So that we can find the right targets to guide the development of new drugs. I published more than 20 papers in important academic journals; 7 posters in ASTRO/ESMO/ESMO Asia meetings. The paper was cited 768 times, and 17 papers were selected as highly cited papers, with the highest citation of a single paper exceeding 100 times. The relevant results have been cited by internationally renowned SCI journals such as Nature, Nat Metab, Trends Cancer, and Trend Cell Biol. Invited to be a reviewer of internationally renowned SCI journals such as Cell Death Dis and Oral Oncol; I am on the editorial board of journals such as Precision Radiation Oncology and Cancer Pharmacy. I've reviewed for a number of prestigious journals, including Oral Oncology; Journal of Cancer; Physical and Engineering Sciences in Medicine; Frontiers in Oncology and European Radiology. A total of 35 articles were reviewed. I am mainly engaged in the research of radiation therapy for head and neck tumors and digestive tract tumors, as well as the research of tumor development and tumor treatment resistance. In terms of leading the scientific research team, as we are affiliated cancer hospital with our own independent laboratory, research team and sufficient scientific research funds, I have strong leadership and innovation ability, and I can lead the team to do cutting-edge scientific research in the world.
