Dr. Ran Weiis an attending physician and assistant researcher in the Pancreaticobiliary Surgery Department at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center. He received his medical doctorate from Fudan University in 2020. From 2020 to 2022, he undertook postdoctoral research in basic medical sciences at Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center, and in 2020, he was appointed as an assistant researcher at Sun Yat-sen University. In 2024, he assumed the role of attending physician. From 2017 to 2020, under the guidance of Professor Lunxiu Qin at Fudan University, he conducted basic research on liver cancer metastasis and obtained his doctorate degree in 2020. His current research focuses on the basics and clinical aspects of gastrointestinal cancer metastasis. Dr. Ran serves on the editorial boards of several scientific journals and acts as a reviewer for numerous peer-reviewed articles, having published dozens of such articles himself.
