Wenxue Ma, MD, PhD, Research Professor, Physician Scientist, University of California San Diego. I have dedicated 25 years to cancer immunotherapy, cancer stem cells, and cancer-targeted therapy. I previously served as the Dean and Distinguished Professor at Huzhou University School of Medicine, was a Senior Scientist at Cynvenio Biosystems, and currently lead a team as the Director of Drug Discovery at the Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine, University of California, San Diego. I have 95 papers published in Cell Stem Cell, Cancer Cell, Cancer Discovery, etc., with a citation of 3445, H-index of 25, and i-10 of 40. I have delivered oral speeches at international conferences such as AACR, ASH, etc., a couple of times. I am a member of several professional associations, including ISSCR, ASCO, AACR, ASH, RSM (The Royal Society of Medicine), American Nano Society (ANS), and Japanese Cancer Association (JCA). I have served as a peer reviewer for 56 peer-reviewed journals, including Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy, Trends in Cell Biology, Cancer Immunology Research, International Journal of Cancer, Nanomedicine, and Seminars in Cancer Biology, among others. Additionally, I hold the role of Associate Editor for Frontiers in Immunology and Frontiers in Oncology and serve on the editorial boards of Discover Oncology, Oncology Research, and Oncology Advances. I am also an evaluation reviewer for the European Scientific Foundation and Research Foundation-Flanders (FWO). I have dedicated my career to clinical oncology and translational oncology research, with a particular focus on cancer immunology and immunotherapy. I am a physician-scientist specializing in cancer immunotherapeutics and targeted therapy. I have demonstrated strong leadership and supervisory capabilities through my roles as an attending physician, senior scientist, team lead, and Director of Drug Discovery.
