I am Fabrício Freire de Melo, with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (2004) and a Master’s (2007) and Ph.D. (2011) in Biological Sciences (Microbiology) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais. I completed a Postdoctoral fellowship in Microbiology (Capes-PNPD) and am currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of Bahia. I am currently working on several fronts in the fields of immunology and microbiology, with a focus on Helicobacter pylori, COVID-19, and post-COVID-19 disorders. To advance my research, I actively seek collaborations with renowned professionals and prominent technological centers, aiming to make my work increasingly impactful within the scientific community. I have 57 publications with 1,131 citations according to Scopus, and an h-index of 26 on Google Scholar, with a total of 2,303 citations. I have around 100 peer-reviewed journals. I aim to further expand my research in the fields of Immunology and Microbiology. I have leadership, teaching, communication, interpersonal management and teamwork skills. I have a habit of reading and love traveling, exploring new places, their cuisines, and their histories.
