Feng-Qiong Liu, PhD, doctor degree of public health, professor from Fujian Medical University, China. Focused on the research topic of molecular epidemiology and nutritional epidemiology in gastrointestinal tumors and diabetes, mainly to explore the relationship between obesity, food nutrition and dietary intake, human trace elements, fatty acid metabolism and the occurrence and prognosis of gastrointestinal tumors and diabetes. And also perform studies related to indicators and metabolism of erythrocyte in diabetes. The author have education background in public health including epidemiology and nutrition, and also have research experience and received training in molecular science. The author have published more than 20 papers as first author or corresponding author in a number of journals including Nature communication, Nutrition and Diabetes, Molecular Therapy, BBA Mol Cell Biol Lipids, Lipids Health Disease etc. The author have reviewed more than 30 papers from a number of journals including British Journal of Nutrition, Cancer Epidemiology, BMC cancer, Frontiers in nutrition etc. Future research will focus on field including role of environment factors such as diet and nutrients, lipid metabolism, erythrocyte metabolism in diabetes and gastrointestinal neoplasms. The author is the core member of Fujian Cohort project which is a prospective multi-purpose research program conducted by the Fujian Medical University and the local government of Fuqing City to investigates the natural history and risk factors of chronic noncommunicable diseases, including cancer, diabetes, and fatty liver, among the Chinese population residing in the Southeast coastal region of China. The author is experienced in field investigation, and have good performance in flexibility, systems and critic thinking, responsibility communications and teamwork.
