Fuqiang Dai, M.D. PhD., is an Associate Chief Physician at the Department of Thoracic Surgery, Daping Hospital, Army Medical University, Chongqing, China, specializing in thoracic surgery with over ten years of clinical experience. I am primarily focused on advancing the field of thoracic surgery, with a particular emphasis on lung cancer, esophageal cancer, and the application of neoadjuvant immunotherapy. I pursue innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes and seek to integrate cutting-edge research with clinical practice. I have authored over 10 SCI-indexed research papers as first author or corresponding author, including publications in high-impact journals like *Advanced Science* with an impact factor of 17.521. I have delivered numerous presentations at domestic conferences in China, contributing significantly to academic discussions in thoracic oncology. I am also an active member of professional associations, including the vice-chairman of the Chongqing Medical Association. I have contributed as a peer reviewer for several international thoracic surgery and oncology journals, having reviewed over 6 manuscripts to help maintain the integrity of academic publications. My long-term research goals are centered on pioneering advancements in lung cancer and esophageal cancer treatment, particularly through strategies for anti-tumor immunity. I specialize primarily in thoracic surgical techniques and have strong leadership skills in managing clinical work and laboratory research, mentoring junior doctors, and problem-solving in complex situations. I also specialize in managing multidisciplinary teams and integrating research findings into clinical practice as well. In my time, I enjoy running, cycling, and playing badminton to rest and recharge both my body and mind.
