Dr. Yang is an Associate Chief Physician in the Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, Fudan University, Shanghai, China. Having received his Master of Medicine degree from Fudan University, Dr. Yang has been an Internal Physician in the Department of Integrative Medicine since 2012. He received his MD/PhD degree from Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2019, and became an Associate Chief Physician since 2021. He has completed the Global Clinical Scholars Research Training Program from June, 2019 to September, 2020 in Harvard Medical School. His ongoing research interests are viral hepatitis, liver cirrhosis and hepatocellular carcinoma. He is a member of the editorial boards and a reviewer of several scientific journals, and has published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Yang served as the Youth Committee, Hepatobiliary Disease Branch, China Association of Chinese Medicine and Youth Committee & Secretary, Infectious Disease Branch, Shanghai Association of Integrative Medicine. He was awarded Shanghai Youth Physician Training Grant Program (2015 to 2018), Young Talents, Jinshan, Shanghai (2017 to 2019), and Class A Technical Backbone, Jinshan, Shanghai (2018 to 2020). Currently, he is the Assistant Director of the Department of Integrative Medicine, Shanghai Public Health Clinical Center, Fudan University.
