Giuseppe Luigi Banna is currently the lead of clinical and translational research for thoracic tumours at Candiolo Cancer Institute, FPO-IRCCS, Turin, Italy. In the last two years, he worked as clinician scientist and consultant for lung and urology tumours at the Lincolnshire United Hospitals, the University of Lincoln and Nottingham, and Portsmouth University NHS Hospitals Trust in the UK and member appointed by the French Ministry of Health of the International Committee for Clinical Cancer Research of the Institut National du Cancer. He is scientific consultant for clinical pharmacology for the AIFA Italian Medicines Agency and coordinator of the Italian Association of Medical Oncology (AIOM) clinical guidelines. He conducted numerous clinical and translational studies within EORTC, ETOP, Meet-Uro networks and his current scientific focus is on predictive models for immunotherapy. His professional objective is to offer the patient the best-individualized treatment and support.
