I am a trained surgeon and also embrace the passion for medical research for over 20 years. I am currently holding a professorial position at the Department of Surgery, the Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, and a position of Senior Research Fellow at University of Auckland. My present research and professional specialities include Non-coding RNA, cancer molecular targeted therapy and cellular signalling. Up to date, I have published over 200 research articles in peer-viewed journals including 153 articles in Science Citation Index journals.  I am also a member of Editorial board of five academic journals, and a member of the review panels for Cancer Research UK, National Science Centre of Poland UCL Research, Belgium, Netherland Cancer research Fund, National Natural Scientific Foundation of China and National Key Research and Development Program of China.
