Graduated from the faculty of medicine, Alexandria University in 1978. Had training in internal medicine and pediatrics at the university hospitals. Master degree in pediatrics 1982 and in critical medicine 1997. Diploma in biostatistics 2006 from the high institute of public health, Alexandria University. Had wide experience in the field of clinical research in gastroenterology and hepatology.
