In 1994, I graduated from Xuzhou Medical College, Jiangsu and obtained a bachelor degree of clinical medicine. Since then, I had been a physician in Department of Infectious Disease in Affiliated Hospital of Xuzhou Medical College, Jiangsu. I have a broad background in Hepatology, with specific training and expertise in clinical medicine and scientific research. During pursuing my doctoral degree in Peking University Health Science Center, I established a FHF mouse model induced by D-galactosamine/lipopolysaccharide (GalN/LPS). Using gas chromatography/time- of-flight mass spectrometry (GC/TOFMS) at various time points after treatment, we characterized plasma metabonomics in the GalN/LPS treated animal model with different outcome and found that GalN/LPS treatment can significantly affect metabolic pathways including gluconeogenesis, glycolysis, production of ketone bodies, the tricarboxylic acid (TCA) and urea cycles, among others. Moreover, I have been interested in molecular biology of hepatitis B and hepatitis C. Now, as a doctor, I focus on various liver disease, for example hepatitis B, hepatitis C, autoimmune liver disease, cirrhosis, and so on.
