I specialize in the study of functional glycan structure-activity relationships, gut microbiome functions, and the gut-organ axis. My research focuses on understanding how specific glycan structures influence biological interactions and contribute to health and disease. Additionally, I investigate the complex roles of gut microbiota in metabolic and immune responses, exploring their implications for overall well-being. A significant part of my work involves developing innovative strategies for the delivery of live bacterial therapeutics, aiming to enhance their efficacy in clinical applications. Through interdisciplinary approaches, I strive to uncover novel insights into the interplay between diet, microbiome, and host health. I have made significant contributions to the field of research over the past three years, authoring and co-authoring several scholarly articles in prestigious international journals, including Advanced Materials, Advanced Science, Carbohydrate Polymers, Journal of Nanobiotechnology, and Marine Drugs. As a dedicated researcher, I have actively participated in the peer review process for several academic journals. This involvement has enhanced my critical evaluation skills and deepened my understanding of the latest developments in my field. By reviewing manuscripts, I contribute to the advancement of scholarly communication and ensure the integrity of published research. This experience not only keeps me informed about emerging trends but also allows me to engage with fellow researchers, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.
