I'm Zhaohui Zhu, MD&PhD, now working as the director of Department of Medical Research Center and a chief physician of the Department of Nuclear Medicine, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Science, and a professor of Peking Union Medical College. My professional and research interests are molecular imaging and nuclear medicine theranostics, including preclinical research, translational studies, and clinical application of new molecular imaging probes, related new equipment, and new technologies for disease diagnosis and therapy, with a focus on developing new technologies for molecular imaging and targeted therapy of tumors. I’m one of the earliest clinical and scientific researchers in China to conduct PET imaging, 68Ga imaging, and 177Lu treatment. I have organized and conducted more than 20 first-in-human clinical translation studies of new molecular imaging probes or radionuclide therapy drugs. I have led over 20 projects of various types, currently responsible for the clinical trial of two Class I novel drugs and have finished a phase 3 multi-center clinical trial of first-in-class new drug, published over 70 SCI articles (mostly Q1, H-index 35) as the first or corresponding author, and participated in the writing of over 20 monographs. I'm a member of Education Committee of World Molecular Imaging Congress. I'm now working as a reviewer and/or editor of several domestic and abroad journals, including Theranostics, European Journal of Nuclear Medicine, and Frontier oncology, especially with prior experience of working as an editor for World Journal of Gastroenterology. As a long term goal, I hope to push the clinical translation of more new diagnostic and therapeutical technologies to resolve the clinical problems, challenges and unmet needs. I am good at stimulating everyone's interest and conducting organized clinical research together. I like reading and enjoy jogging.
