Dr. Niu is a Distinguished Professor in the School of Medicine, Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University, China. Having received his MD/PhD degree from Southern Medical University in 2020, Dr. Niu undertook his postgraduate training at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and has been a chief doctor in the Department of Interventional Radiology since 2020. He was promoted to Vice Professor in the School of Medicine, Affiliated Hospital of Chengdu University in 2022. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles. He has received several provincial awards for progress in medical science and technology. Important Academic Positions: Member of Interventional Medicine Specialized Committee of Sichuan Province/Member of Interventional Tumor Specialized Committee of Sichuan Province. Research areas: 1, minimally invasive treatment of abdominal diseases, including minimally invasive interventional surgery for liver cancer and portal hypertension; 2, artificial intelligence analysis of medical images; 3, multi-omics analysis to reveal the tumor immune microenvironment.
