Alexander B Konovalov, Ph.D. Biophysics, has worked in image reconstruction more than 25 years and has approximately 100 manuscripts (publications and technical reports) in this area. His work has been pivotal in few-view computed tomography, diffuse optical tomography, and fluorescence molecular tomography for which he has developed models, methods, and algorithms for solving both the forward and inverse problems. He was awarded by Rosatom State Corporation for series papers on the topic "Image reconstruction algorithms for few-view tomography of strongly absorbing media". He has the Rosatom State Corporation medal "Veteran of Nuclear Power and Industry".
