Dr. Makary is an Assistant Professor of Radiology and a practicing Vascular and Interventional Radiologist with special interests in interventional oncology, complex hepatobiliary care, venous disease, women's health, and diagnostic imaging. Originally from Columbus, Dr. Makary obtained his medical doctorate as well as completed both his interventional and diagnostic radiology training at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He has authored over 80 manuscripts and abstracts, and is an active member of the American College of Radiology (ACR), the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), and the Society of Imaging Informatics (SIIM). Dr. Makary is passionate about academics and research, quality improvement and technology, and leadership and service.
