Dr. Aziz-Ur-Rahim Bacha worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences, COMSATS University Islamabad, and also a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology Shenzhen. He received his PhD degree in Environmental Science from Fudan University and published > 39 SCI articles in top journals with a cumulative impact factor of > 250. His research area focused on AOPs for the treatment of water/wastewater, photo (electro)catalysis for environmental pollutants removal, and microplastic degradation. He is an editorial board member/editor of 8 journals such as J Water Process Eng (IF = 7), Crit Rev Environ Sci Technol (IF = 12.6), Int. J. Electrochem (IF = 1.8), etc. He is an IRTC and HEC-approved PhD supervisor. He is serving as an active reviewer of around 70 well-reputed international scientific journals. Up to now, he reviewed > 500 SCI articles. He has received some awards including the Best Research Award on New Science Invention 2021, Young Scientist Award 2022, and the Excellent Reviewer Award 2023.
