Kunqi Chen received his PhD in Biological Science from University of Liverpool in 2021. He is now a Professor at School of Basic Medicine, Fujian Medical University. He focuses on the study of epitranscriptomics and bioinformatics methods, he have developed a serial bioinformatics tools for assisting the epitranscriptomics research. He have published more than 40 peer-reviewed papers and have been cited for more than 1300 times with an H-index of 20. He has participated in 133 peer reviews, especially for Cell Genomics, Trends in cell biology, Nature Communications and STAR protocols. He is exploring the clinical applications for targeting epitranscriptome as therapy strategy. He is a PI at Key Laboratory of Ministry of Education for Gastrointestinal Cancer, leading a reaserch group with 20 people. He likes sports and RAP music.
