Dr Debora Lo Furno graduated in Biological Sciences at the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences of the University of Catania. She received her Ph.D. in "Diseases of the Respiratory System" and then a Ph.D. in "Applied Biomedical Sciences". Currently, Dr Lo Furno is Assistant professor in Physiology at the Department of “Biomedical and Biotechnological Sciences of the University of Catania. In the same Department, she runs the laboratory on the physiology of stem cells. The main research topics concern the differentiation ability of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells.
