Dr. Ma is a Distinguished Associated Professor in the Shandong Co-Innovation Center of Classic TCM formula, Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He received his PhD degree from Qingdao University in 2017. Then, he was recommend as a young innovative talent, and a core member of the Shandong Co-Innovation Center of Classic TCM formula. His ongoing research interests are epigenetic of emotional psychiatric diseases, pathophysiological mechanism of depression, modernization of traditional Chinese medicine. He is the Associated Editor of the Spandidos Publication, a member of the editorial boards and a reviewer of several scientific journals, and has published more than 30 peer-reviewed articles. Currently, his research is granted by Shandong University of TCM, Shandong Province University Research Projects and Shandong Provincial Medical and Health Science and Technology Development Plan Project (Total Funding about 400,000 RMB).
