Dr. Silsirivanit is an Associate Professor in Department of Biochemistry, Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University, Thailand. He received his Ph.D. in Medical Biochemistry from Khon Kaen University in 2010. During 2014-2016, Dr. Silsirivanit was awarded by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Sciences (JSPS) as an International Research Fellow at Kumamoto University, Kumamoto, Japan. In 2014, he received the "Cancer Science Young Scientist Award" from Japanese Cancer Association (JCA), Japan. After finish the postdoctoral training in Kumamoto, he has been back to Khon Kaen University, Thailand, becoming an Assistant Professor (2016-2020) and Associate Professor (2020~). In 2020, Dr. Silsirivanit received "the 2020 Professor M.R. Jisnuson Svasti Young Protein Scientist of Thailand Award" from Protein Society of Thailand. His research is on glycobiology in human diseases, especially cancer.
