Dr Singh is currently working as an Associate Professor in the School of Chemistry and Physics (SCP) at the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal (UKZN), South Africa. His research focuses on the synthesis and molecular modelling of medicinally significant heterocycles. Primarily, he employs the hetero Diels-Alder and molecular hybridization techniques for the synthesis of new molecular assemblies and exploring their medicinal potential against cancer, diabetes, and microbial infections. He also uses different computational techniques (DFT, Docking, MD) to supplement the experimental findings.
