Dr. Ssentongo is a physician-scientist and a assistant research professor at the Center for Neural Engineering, Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics, Penn State University. His clinical research interests focus on global surgery and the use of radiomics to measure central (abdominal) adiposity and hepatic steatosis, estimating their influence on surgical outcomes.
