Prof. Dr. Peng Gao is the head of the Clinical Laboratory of the Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University and the graduate student supervisor of Dalian Medical University. He is the member of Young Teachers' Research Innovation Alliance of Chinese Society of Laboratory Medicine, Chinese Medical Association. His research interests are related to MS-based microbial metabolomics analysis, tumor metabolomics analysis, glioma biology and glioma pathology research. Prof. Peng Gao is the lead scientist of 2 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He studied metabolomics in Dalian Institute of Chemical and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences and got a Ph.D in analytical chemistry in 2009. He earned his Top Talents of Dalian City title in 2020. He used to be a visiting scholar of the University of Stuttgart, the head of Dalian Municipal Clinical Research Center for Viral Hepatitis and the scientist of Shanghai Institute for Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Technologies.
