Bor Luen Tang graduated from NUS/IMCB with an MSc and PhD. He was research associate and then assistant professor (research) with the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology. He then joined the faculty of Department of Biochemistry, National University of Singapore. A cell biologist by training, his current research focuses on aspects of growth, death, regeneration and membrane dynamics of neurons and glia.
