Dr. Liu is currently the director of the Laboratory for Lipid Metabolism and Atherosclerosis, Xi'an Jiaotong University Cardiovascular Research Center, and the director of the Laboratory Animal Center of Xi'an Jiaotong University. Dr. Liu is an expert in the field of atherosclerosis, lipid metabolism and genetically modified animal. He has published more than 100 peer-review papers in international journals such as Circulation, J Am Soc Nephrol, Arterioscler Thromb Vasc Biol, iScience, J Pineal Res. He has also published 5 books , including "Laboratory Animal Genetics", "Medical Laboratory Animal Science", "Animal Models of Human Diseases"，"Fundamentals of Laboratory Animal Science".
