I am presently working as Assistant Professor of Biochemistry in the Department of Basic Medical Sciences, College of Medicine (COM-J), King Saud Bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences (KSAU-HS), Jeddah, KSA since May 2015. In addition to my academic duties, I am also serving as the Chairman of the Quality Unit in COM-J, KSAU-HS since November 2016. I have a teaching experience of almost 8 years and a research experience of almost 12 years in the field of genetics and molecular biology. I have published almost 70 scientific papers in national and international journals of repute on wide variety of topics including Genetics, Molecular Biology, Oncology, Biochemistry and Colorectal, Breast, Prostate, Esophageal & Bladder Cancer. In many of them I am the first, or the corresponding author. Currently, the citation index (h) of my articles is 18 and i10 is 33. I am also the author of 07 books on Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Molecular Biology.
