Dr. Seth Rosen received his MD at New York University School of Medicine in 1996. He completed a general surgery residency at the University of Chicago, where he developed an interest in inflammatory bowel disease and colorectal cancer.  Dr. Rosen pursued further training in colorectal surgery, completing a residency in colon and rectal surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Florida in 2002. Following his training, Dr. Rosen joined Atlanta Colon & Rectal Surgery, working in private practice for 13 years.  During this time, Dr. Rosen developed an interest in robotic-assisted colorectal surgery.  He joined the faculty of the Emory University School of Medicine in 2015, and now spends a considerable amount of his time performing, teaching and developing new techniques related to robotic-assisted colon and rectal surgery.  He is considered a center of excellence for Robotic Colorectal Surgery.  As the Chair of Emory Healthcare’s Robotic Surgery Committee he has directed initiatives related to robotic surgery credentialing and privileging, resident education, clinical quality and research.
