Mr Chatzizacharias is a Consultant Surgeon in the HPB and Liver Transplant Unit of Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, United Kingdom. Mr Chatzizacharias received his MD from the University of Athens Medical School, Greece and a PhD on molecular signaling in pancreatic cancer from the same institution. He trained in Oxford and Cambridge, UK and completed a fellowship in HPB Surgery in the Medical College of Wisconsin, USA. His area of specialist interest is the management of locally advanced pancreatic cancer. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, as well as a member of various national and international medical societies and organisations.
