Dr. Zeng has received his MD degree in Clinical Medicine from Fujian Medical University at 1996, his master degree in General surgery from Fujian Medical University at 2002, and his Ph.D. degree in General Surgery from the Third Military Medical University of China at 2007. He has worked as a resident doctor in General Surgery department from 1996 to 2002, as an Assistant Professor from 2002-2008, and as Associate Professor from 2008-2016 in Hepatobiliary Surgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University. From 2016 till now, he has been appointed as a full professor and the director of the Hepatobiliary surgery Department of Mengchao Hepatobiliary Hospital of Fujian Medical University. For clinical practice, he has extensive and outstanding clinical experience in performing hepatopancreatobiliary operations and laparoscopic hepatectomy. By the end of 2018, he has completed more than 1500 cases of total laparoscopic hepatectomy. For clinical research, he focuses on the new strategies of hepatobiliary surgery, molecular imaging guided hepatobiliary surgery, biomarker screening and cancer immunotherapy. He has co-hosted 2 National Natural Science Foundation of China and personally hosted 9 research projects supported by Fujian Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Also, he has authored more than 20 publications in the world honored SCI journals as either the first author or the corresponding author. Currently, he is the member of youth committee of Surgery branch of Chinese Medical Association; the member of International Association of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists, and Oncologists, as well as many other memberships of well-known hepatobiliary organizations.
