Prof. (Dr) Pradeep Kumar Dabla is an experienced Chairperson with a demonstrated history of more than 25yrs of Leadership & Administration while working in the hospital & health care industry. He is a laboratory physician skilled in Medical Devices, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Laboratory Medicine, Clinical Research& Artificial Intelligence. A strong research professional who also support the NABL, as Lead & Technical Assessor ISO 15189:2022& ISO 17043:2023 focused in Medical Laboratories, NABL, Quality Council, Govt. of India. He is also associated with NABL as National Faculty & Member Draft Committees NABL India. He has been instrumental with NABH, Quality Council, Govt. of India while working with Chacha Nehru Bal Chikitsalya (CNBC), Superspeciality Pediatric Hospital, GNCTD as a Head, Dept of Biochemistry & all labs. He is also associated with National Medical Commission (NMC) as an Assessor & supporting medical education. Currently, he is working as a Professor in Department of Biochemistry, G.B.Pant Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research (GIPMER), associated Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), Govt of NCT of Delhi. He is also contributing to the International Federations APFCB as Chair APFCB-Communication & Publication Committee& Chief Editor APFCB News publication; and having more than a decade experience with IFCC working at different responsible positions, currently as Member Executive Committee-Scientific Division, Consultant IFCC TF-GLQ & IFCC TFYS: Corres Member IFCC-MHBLM & Past-Chair IFCC TFYS while developing methodology, training, education, networking and support programmes for the global lab medicine community. He studied MBBS from reputed Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University and MD (Biochemistry) from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi University, India. Further, to increase the proficiency in management, he pursued Post-graduation in the Business Administration (PGDBA) & Hospital Management (PGDHA). He is also qualified with Advanced Training in Supply Chain Management, Govt. of NCT Delhi, India. He also certified in “Leading Strategic Innovation: How to Lead with Purpose” from Deakin University and Coventry University”; “Essentials of Global Health” from Yale University; “Good Clinical Practice” from NIDA Clinical Trials Network, USA. Due to keen interest in research and laboratory medicine, he has been awarded Thrice for his research work in “Postmenopausal Women CAD Risk & Gene Polymorphism” and “Diabetic CAD Risk” and received another Five International Awards& Travel Grants. He has been invited several times as speaker, chair at National & International congresses.He received Eminent Teacher Award from Delhi Medical Association, Fellowship ACBI(Association of Clinical Biochemists of India), Fellowship IMSA (International Medical Sciences Academy), and Member- National Academy of Medical Sciences (MAMS),Honorary Fellowship GAPIO 2024 (Honorary GAPIO Global Association of Physicians of India Origin), Awarded GAPIO Excellence in Diagnostics Award 2024. He has more than 90 research papers to his credit in reputed National & International journals. He also published 5 book chapters, 2 books, 2 Patents (Artificial Intelligence) and more than 50 abstracts as a part of invited talks and papers presented. He is associated as an international expert for research funding at University of Tabuk, UAE and with various reputed journals as editor, reviewer&advisory board member.
