I am a clinician and researcher in internal medicine department of Abant Izzet Baysal University Hospital since 2011. I have more than 200 papers published in peer reviewed journals. I am in editorial board of more than 10 medical journals. I currently research inflammation in chronic diseases, especially, diabetes, hypertension, metabolic syndrome and obesity. My H index is 42 in Google Scholar, 35 in Web of Science and 36 in Scopus. According to the Publons data, I have reviewed more than 1000 manuscripts so far. It is probably much more than this number since some of the journal I reviewed for are not listed in Publons. I am engaged in all branches of internal medicine with a focus on nutrition, inflammation and frailty- sarcopenia. My areas of expertise are type 2 diabetes, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, obesity, metabolic dysfunction associated fatty liver disease, nutrition, sarcopenia, frailty and inflammation. My hobbies are reading in peace, hiking in nature, cycling.
