Dr. Donate-Correa is a senior researcher in the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria, Canary Islands, Spain. Having received his PhD from La Laguna University in 2015, Dr. Donate-Correa undertook his postgraduate training at the Hospital Universitario de Canarias. He became a lecturer in the category of expert in the Nursing School of Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria in 2019. His ongoing research interests are chronic diseases, particularly diabetes and chronic kidney disease. He is a member of the Editorial Board of Journal of Clinical Medicine and Frontiers in Endocrinology and a reviewer of several scientific journals, and has published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles.
