Editorial Board
Małgorzata Kujawska graduated with an MSc. and Ph.D with habilitation. Dr. Kujawska completed workshops on entrepreneurship and design thinking at Stanford University within the prestigious government program “Top 500 Innovators” and International Summer School on Technology Transfer in Life Sciences (Technische Universität Dresden). She took part in the internship in NASA Ames Research Centerat Synthetic Biology Innovation Lab. Dr. Kujawska has 16 years’ teaching and research experience. Her research work has been focused on the protective effects of substances of natural origin which have the potential to optimize health status and reduce the risk of civilization’s diseases. She has participated in projects involved in the exploration of the protective effects of plant preparations and their bioactive components against cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Her ongoing research interest is the implication of Brain-Gut Axis in neurodegeneration and neuroprotection. She also has experience in conducting toxicity studies for new chemicals and novel food products. Dr. Kujawska is in the Top 1% Reviewers for Pharmacology & Toxicology according to Publons (Clarivate). She is a member of an editorial board and review panels for several scientific journals. She also served as an expert in Polish and foreign institutions financing R&D activities in the field of healthcare and biomedical sciences.
