At the preoperatively-marked ideal stoma site (A), three trocars were placed in the EZ Access device (B).

SILStoma was performed using a total of 3 trocars: 2 trocars for an operator and 1 trocar for a laparoscopist (A). After the mobilization to construct a loop colostomy the transverse colon was extracted through the Lap-Protector at the stoma site (B).
