Professor Che-Lun Hung is a leading academic in the field of biomedical informatics, currently serving as a professor in the Institute of Biomedical Informatics at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, Taiwan. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University in 2010 and has since devoted his career to advancing artificial intelligence (AI) applications in healthcare. His research focuses on developing innovative AI-driven solutions to support clinical decision-making, analyze electronic medical records (EMRs), and promote personalized medicine. With a deep commitment to translational impact, Professor Hung is distinguished by his ability to integrate sophisticated algorithm development with real-world hospital system deployment, bridging the gap between academic innovation and practical clinical application. Throughout his career, Professor Hung has made significant contributions to the scientific community. He is the author of over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and more than 60 conference papers. In recognition of his academic influence, he has served as a guest editor for over 10 reputable academic journals. According to Google Scholar, his work has been cited 2,106 times, and he holds an h-index of 24, reflecting the quality and sustained relevance of his contributions to biomedical informatics and AI in healthcare.
