Dr. Mosaad Attia Abdel-Wahhab is a professor at the Department of Food Toxicology and Contaminants, National Research Centre. He got his BSc in Agricultural Science, MSc in Animal Physiology from Ain Shams University at Egypt and his PhD in Toxicology from Texas A and M University, Texas, USA. Professor Abdel-Wahhab established the Egyptian Society of Science and Halal Products on 2016 and act as elected president of this Society till now. He acted as a visiting Professor in several universities at several countries. His major interest is Toxicology and food safety. He conducted more than 15 research projects in the area of pharmacology, Toxicology, food safety, food contaminants; nanotechnology and natural products funded by National and International agencies and got 6 patents. He published more than 250 research articles in the International Journals and several book chapters. He supervised more than 65 MSc and PhD thesis and participated (till now) in 80 international conferences as invited or keynote speaker. He conducted semiannual training courses in the area of mycotoxins and food safety. He was honored and awarded from many international and national agencies and in 2019 he awarded the State Appreciation Award in Advanced Technological Sciences, Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Egypt, and awarded the UNESCO-Equatorial Guinea International Prize for Research in the Life Sciences 2023. He is a basic membership in several professional organizations. His H-index is 53 and i10 index is 148 according to google scholar database. He is a reviewer for more than 200 International Journals, co-editor for 20 International Journals and writing several editorial for different journals. Prof. Abdel-Wahhab is professional in the area of pharmacology and toxicology, natural products, mycotoxins and food safety, nanotechnology, drug delivery, nanotoxicology, and molecular biology. Prof. Abdel-Wahhab is an outstanding researcher and teacher and an exceptional person. He has the ability and motivation to excel in all of his endeavors. He demands the highest quality of himself as well as his co-workers and students. Moreover, he has a great smile, is articulate, cooperative and highly motivated as a sholar. Prof. Abdel-Wahhab is a true academician and scholar who loves to solve tough problems using the scientific method. He is also an excellent teacher who is highly capable of explaining concepts in the classroom and the laboratory. He is very good communicator capable of presenting scientific data in English and Arabic either written or by oral presentation. Prof. Abdel-Wahhab is a team player and is always willing to share his knowledge and expertise with colleagues and students.
