Dr. Nouhoum Bouare is a distinguished Biomedical Research Scientist in National Institute of Public Health (INSP), Mali. He Totalizes around 10 years hospital work experience, over 6 years post graduate study and training, and over 10 years biomedical research expertise. Dr. Bouare worked in two Regional Hospitals before to undertake his post graduate inter-universitary study (Immunology-Hematology-Transfusion field) at Louvain Universitary Hospital in a one academic year. Having again attended successively advanced training (molecular technics field) at Cape Town UCT and HIV/HCV epidemiology training at Liege Universitary Hospital, he became official Researcher at INSP in 2007. From 2009, he pursued a fellowship research at Liege University and was graduated Doctor (PhD degree) in Jun 2013. He is passionate about multidisciplinary and pluralistic management of diseases. As far as biology and medicine are concerned, in African region there are many important related problems linked to chronic diseases communicable or not. Dr Bouare conducted many research works leading to the scientific outputs, which are being attracted a great interest for Researchers (field Hepatology, Public Health, Medicine, Medical biology, etc.). These results may have practical implications for the prevention of infectious diseases, especially viral diseases (HIV, HCV, Ebola and COVID-19) and the management in general of these same diseases. Dr Bouare was promoted as Researcher in charge of Biological Sciences in National Institute of Research in Public Health in 2017. He is author of 8 peer-reviewed articles (whose 6 from Baishideng) and has presented 6 conference papers (physically or virtually) in numerous international conferences in Europe, China and USA., etc. He was awarded C-Hep Best poster award for young investigators for the amount of 500 Euro (Five Hundred Euro) at the 2nd World Congress on Controversies in the Management of Viral Hepatitis (C-Hep), Berlin, Germany, October 18-20, 2012. Dr Bouare was certified by Editage Insights Publication Success Academy on completing the advanced course on "Become a great peer reviewer" in 2017. He totalizes 8 articles 36 citations with a H-index 3 from Semantic Scholar. He is official member of the editorial board of World Journal of Hepatology with author and peer reviewer role. He is also member of many scientific organizations or platform, including Reference Citation Analysis (RCA), Research Gate, Science Open, Web of Science, Researcher life Ambassadors. Regarding Editorial Board work, Dr Bouare contributed from 2018 to 2024 by 4 published manuscript (including 2 invited manuscripts), 9 peer reviewed manuscripts (whose 5 published) and 5 manuscripts quality tracking. He was honored Cover person of World Journal of Hepatology (WJH): Contents Volume 15 Issue 4 April 27, 2023. Dr Bouare believes that an integrated and pluralistic approach is needed for an efficient management of chronic and potential epidemic diseases. His scientific research perspectives carry upon « Impact of patient quasi global management on antiretroviral therapy »; « Human genetic variations and their significance in patients with chronic hepatitis B in Mali and Nigeria »; «Multidisciplinary Management of Chronic and Potential Epidemic Diseases ».Thus his research perspectives aim to solve the problems linked to chronic diseases by preventing the future complications and reducing the related morbidity and mortality. Dr Bouare is a distinguished biomedical Scientist with a strong background in Immunology-Hematology-Transfusion leading to 2012 C-Hep Best poster award from successful study and scientific production about HIV/HCV comparative epidemiology and Relevancy of HCV NS3 epitope in the detection of the virus presence. He is creative and self motivated individual with easy integration in multicultural environment with analytical skills leading to career as official editorial board member of Baishideng Publishing Group in quality of Peer-reviewer of World Journal of Hepatology, World Journal of Virology and World Journal of Gastroenterology from 2018 to 2021.
