Since starting his medical at the Jena University Hospital, hepatobiliary surgery stood in the focus of Dr. Falk Rauchfuss. Actually, his research group works on liver regeneration in cholestatic liver tissue and the induction of a regeneration of the extrahepatic bile duct with biocellulosis. Dr. Falk Rauchfuss works in several national and even international networks for research projects in the field of hepatobiliary diseases.
