Dr. Yuana transplant hepatologist and an assistant professor of clinical medicine at Keck USC School of Medicine. Her research interests extent from translational research to clinical outcome in NAFLD  and HCC. In her early years of career, she worked with Neil Kaplowitz in studying the lipid metabolism in the molecular level and authored two reviews that have been widely cited.  Lately she has been primarily focused on clinical research in NAFLD and HCC. She am leading NASH clinical trials and Obesity treatment at Keck USC. She collaborated with Dr. El-Khoueiry and Dr. Stile in bridging bench discovery to identify novel biomarkers/models in predicting clinical outcomes of HCC. Our clinical outcome study of HCC and CCA has led an oral presentation in ATC conference 2021, and three abstracts in ATC and AASLD.
