Professor Tian Yang trained and obtained his doctoral degree from the Second Military Medical University, China. Dr Yang is currently the Attending doctor and Associate Professor at the Department of Hepatobiliary Surgery of Eastern Hepatobiliary Surgery Hospital, Shanghai, China. He is also a Committee Member of the Scientific Council of International Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA); an Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Clinical Hepatobiliary Disease; an Editorial Board Member of HPB, and ; an Editorial Board Member of  ISRN Hepatology and World Journal of Clinical Oncology;  a Member of the Branch of General Surgery, Chinese Medical Association; and a Member of the Branch of Surgery, Chinese Medical Doctor Association.
