Dr. Jinyong Peng was born in Hubei Provence, China, in 1973. He received his Master of Medical Science from Zhejiang University from 2000 to 2003, and then received PhD from The Second Military Medical University, Shanghai, China during the period of 2003-2006, and last received his post-doctoral degree in Analytical Chemistry from Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Dalian, China. Currently, he is working as the dean of College of Pharmacy, Dalian Medical University. He is serving as an Associate Editor or Editorial Member of more than ten reputed journals including Archives of Toxicology, Toxicology and Applied Pharmacol -ogy, Phytomedicine, International Immunopharmacology, Journal of Pharmacolo- gical and Toxicological Methods and Pharmacognosy Magazine. He also serves as the reviewer for more than twenty journals including Biochemical Pharmacology, Molecular Pharmaceutics, Journal of Natural Products, Pharmacology Research, Food Chemistry, Toxicology Letters, Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Scientific Reports and Journal of Chromatography A. He has published more than 80 papers in Chemical Communications, Free Radical Biology and Medicine, Archives of Toxicology, British Journal of Pharmacology, Pharmacological Research and Scientific Reports. He is a member of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, Chinese Pharmacological Society, and Chinese Chemical Society. He has honored as “The Award Young Teacher of Fok Ying Tong Education Foundation”, “Access to the Liaoning Provence Science and Technology Advancement Award, Second Class”, “The Award Young Scientist of Dalian”.
